The disadvantage of the CTBN-epoxy system is that the thermal deformation temperature drops more with increasing temperature. The shear strength of the cured product obtained with different curing agents and treatment methods was shown in Table 7-4. The shear strength of random hydroxybutyronitrile 3704 (M=3289, nitrile group content 31.25%, carboxyl group content 5.8%). It can be seen that the shear strength of the adhesive can be increased by adding 0.5 parts of 2,4-imidazole pre-esterification process. Applications:

(1) FZ-12 high strength epoxy structural adhesive

1) Required performance indicators (steel-concrete):

Shear strength ≥ 20MPa;
Tensile strength ≥85MPa;
Operating temperature -20 ~ +65 °C;
Curing conditions: Curing at room temperature.

2) Formula for the design (parts by mass):

A: Epoxy resin CYD-128 100
Silane coupling agent KH-550 3.5
Gas phase SiO2 6.5

B: liquid butyronitrile-40 13.5
Alumina (325 mesh) 65
Metaxylylenediamine 16.5

A: B = 2:1 (mass ratio)

3) Preparation of adhesives.

A component: The epoxy resin was added to the A reactor, and SiO2 was slowly added while stirring. After mixing, the coupling agent was added dropwise and stirred for 1 h. Sampling The visual inspection of the glue is homogeneous and translucent, and the material can be discharged without SiO2 pellets. Then it was ground three times by a three-roller machine, and the roll distance was 1mm and 0.5mm in order. 0.1mm, then it can be filled and sealed.

Part B: The nitrile rubber was added to the reaction vessel of the material A, heated and stirred, and the temperature was controlled at 55°C. Alumina powder of the same weight as acrylonitrile butadiene rubber was added and stirred for 10 minutes. Then add the curing agent to continue to heat and stir for 10 minutes. Add the remaining alumina powder and continue stirring for 1 h. Sampling visually, if there is no delamination and lumps, the material can be discharged hot. After cooling, it was ground three times on a three-roller machine. The roll spacing was 1.5mm and 0.8mm in sequence. 0.2mm. Then you can package it.

4) Performance Test: The bonded material is 45 steel.

The shear strength at room temperature is 23.6 MPa, and the tensile strength at room temperature is 90.3 MPa. All exceed the prescribed indicators.

(2) Epoxy-nitrile adhesives. Formula (parts by mass):

Epoxy Resin E-51 Liquid Butyronitrile-40 2-Methylimidazole

Curing conditions: 80°C/2h+120°C/3h. Pressure 0.3MPa.

Performance: Shear strength: room temperature 29.9 MPa, 80° C. 28.5 MPa.

Uneven tear strength 49kN/m.

(3) Epoxy-nitrile adhesives. Formula (parts by mass):

Epoxy Resin E-51 CTBN-22 Triphenylphosphine 2,4-Imidazole

100 25 moderate amount 8

E-51 and CTBN are pre-esterified and then combined with a curing agent.

Curing conditions: 60°C/3h+80°C/4h.

Performance: Shear strength: 22.6 MPa at room temperature, 18.8 MPa at 100°C.

Uneven tear strength 34kN/m.
